  Great place to have lunch or dinner just had a nice sandwich and a pint. They do a great Sunday Lunch too!

  Went for Sunday lunch on recommendation of other members of the family. The staff were attentive to our needs- but there were few other patrons at the time of our visit and a lot of staff to assist. We were told that the menu was reduced due to 'gas 'problems and therefore associated food preparation issues. Part of the order my wife requested could not be fulfilled.We were served quickly but oh dear we found the food bland/tasteless. My wife felt her fish was cold in the middle. Having made comment to the staff it was taken away and returned somewhat more appetising .Compared to other places in the area where we have eaten identical meals it was overpriced. It became apparent that our visit coincided with the lead up to a refurbishment and rebranding ('13days to go') Possibly the limitations we experienced might be associated with this. Hopefully things will be better in 8 weeks time.

  Great food at a reasonable price. Good atmosphere at peak dining times. Would have awarded 5 stars had service been quicker. One side dish we ordered did not turn up. We mentioned side dish to the serving waitress who went back to kitchen to check but she never came back to let us now what had happened. Also a coffee we ordered did not arrive so had to order again (a different type due to lack of ingredients). Both errors were rectified easily on our bill by our good humoured waitress.

  Awful service but lovely food (when it finally arrived!) - waited 1.5 hours for main courses only to be served by a very rude girl who slammed our plates down and had 0 manners. Our roast dinners were missing half of the accoutrements and had to ask for extra gravy - this is Doncaster, I was looking for my dinner to be swimming in the stuff!
